Bridge to Reading Tutor & Homeschool Essentials Kits bring the program's explicit, Science of Reading-aligned K–3 lessons into a single, teaching-ready set designed for 1:1 instruction. With systematic instruction in phonemic awareness, phonics, word study, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension, each kit gives tutors and homeschool families the routines, resources, and digital support needed to help one child become a confident, capable reader.
- Made for one-on-one teaching. The Tutor & Homeschool Essentials Kit brings together the core lessons and materials from the Bridge to Reading classroom curriculum in a format built for working with one child. It is not designed for whole-class instruction. Teachers outfitting a classroom should choose a Bridge to Reading Standard or Small Kit.
- Bridge to Reading builds year over year. Each grade picks up where the last one left off, so your child can keep growing with the same familiar routines from Kindergarten through Grade 3.
- In addition to the print curriculum, each Essentials Kit includes a one-year digital subscription to myHeggerty, which provides access to digital lesson support, assessment tools, instructional resources, and embedded professional learning designed to support planning, delivery, and responsive instruction.
- Each kit includes materials for one student. Bridge to Reading Student Sets are available for tutors and families teaching more than one child.
